About PACIMP

Interior finishing for homes in Dallas: drywall, floors, interior paint, and cabinet coatings.

PACIMP does the finishing work for houses in Dallas, Texas: drywall repair and installation, vinyl, laminate, and hardwood floors, interior painting, and cabinet painting. Plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and structural building are not part of that work.

An estimate starts with the rooms: what is damaged or unfinished, approximate sizes, and what should be left alone. PACIMP separates a patch from a replacement and names materials, rooms, and exclusions in writing before work is scheduled. The form on the contact page is a request, not a price.

How a project is scoped

If the description cannot show moisture, flatness, or the condition of the cabinet finish, an on-site look may be the next step. Not every request becomes a job.

A written scope should name materials in plain language, the rooms, the sequence, and the exclusions. Drywall before paint. Dusty sanding before an unprotected new floor. Cabinet doors off the boxes before a coating that has to level. Those are the planning rules for the order of work.

What the work does not include

  • Plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or structural construction
  • Exterior painting, additions, and roofing
  • Lead-paint or asbestos abatement

Photographs are reference images of rooms and finishes. Captions say so. They are not a gallery of completed jobs.

Reference: an open interior where walls, ceilings, and floors meet.

Hazardous materials and other trades

Lead-based paint in older houses and asbestos in some textured ceilings are not finishing tasks. They need qualified testing and, when required, abatement before ordinary sanding or scraping. Active leaks need a plumber or a roofer. The finishing estimate should pause until that work is done and the area is dry.

Permit questions depend on the City of Dallas rules for the specific scope. Cosmetic coating and a small patch are not the same as opening a rated wall. The scope should say if a permit needs to be checked instead of waving the question away.

Describe the rooms and ask for an estimate.

Name the rooms, the approximate sizes, and what should be finished. If the form cannot send, call or email instead.
