Interior finishing for Dallas homes
PACIMP repairs drywall, installs vinyl, laminate, and hardwood floors, and paints interiors and cabinets. The work does not include plumbing, wiring, or mechanical systems.
The work stays on the finished surfaces of a Dallas home: the board on the walls and ceilings, the floor you walk on, the paint, and the cabinet finish. Each service below has its own page so a repair is not mixed up with a full installation.
If a project needs a plumber, an electrician, or an HVAC technician first, that work has to be finished and stable before cosmetic finishing begins. Covering an active leak with new drywall or new flooring does not solve the leak.
Drywall repair
Cracks, nail pops, holes, water-damaged board after the source is fixed, ceiling drywall repair, and wall patching.
DrywallDrywall installation
Hanging, taping, and finishing new board when a room is open or the damaged area is too large to patch.
FloorsFlooring installation
How to choose among vinyl, laminate, and hardwood, and what has to happen to the subfloor first.
FloorsVinyl flooring installation
Luxury vinyl plank, vinyl tile, and sheet vinyl, including where water resistance is real and where it is oversold.
FloorsLaminate flooring installation
Click-together laminate, underlayment, and the rooms where moisture makes laminate a poor choice.
FloorsHardwood flooring installation
Solid and engineered wood, acclimation, subfloor flatness, and the difference between prefinished and site-finished floors.
PaintInterior painting
Walls, ceilings, doors, and trim, with washing, sanding, caulk, and primer treated as part of the job.
PaintCabinet painting and refinishing
Degreasing, sanding, priming, and coating kitchen or bathroom cabinets that are structurally sound.
What a useful scope includes
A finishing estimate is easier to compare when it names the rooms, the square footage or the number of cabinet openings, the material family, and the prep. It should also say whether furniture moving, old floor removal, texture matching, or a final coat of paint is included.
Drywall that will be painted belongs ahead of the paint. Floors are usually protected or installed after dusty sanding is done. Cabinet coating needs the room clear enough to control dust. Those sequence choices belong in the scope, not in a surprise visit.
City of Dallas permit rules depend on the scope. Cosmetic painting and patching often differ from work that opens a wall or changes a structure. The written scope should say whether any permit question applies, and the answer should be checked against the current city rules rather than assumed.
Work that is not offered
- Plumbing, gas, electrical, and HVAC
- Structural repairs, foundations, additions, and roofing
- Exterior painting and siding
- Lead-paint or asbestos abatement
- Specialty commercial floors such as ESD or terrazzo
If the visible damage started with a leak or a structural crack, say so in the request. The finishing work can be priced only for the surface that remains after the cause has been handled.
Questions that affect the work
What interior finishing work is offered?
Drywall repair, drywall installation, vinyl flooring, laminate flooring, hardwood flooring, interior painting, and cabinet painting or refinishing. The work is cosmetic finishing inside a home.
Are plumbing, electrical, and HVAC included?
No. Leaks, circuits, vents, and equipment stay with the trades licensed for that work. Finishing can start after those problems are already corrected.
Can one request cover more than one room?
Yes. Describe every room in the same estimate request and say whether the jobs should be sequenced, such as drywall repair before paint or floor installation after the walls are done.
Is exterior painting or a home addition part of this?
No. Exterior painting, room additions, structural framing, and roofing are not offered here.
Next step
Describe the rooms and ask for an estimate.
Name the rooms, the approximate sizes, and what should be finished. If the form cannot send, call or email instead.
